A Few Words About Us

who we are and our beliefs

_MG_0042Cedar Cross Country Church is a non denominational church located in Alvarado, Texas with a focus on lifting up Jesus Christ. CCCC is much more than just a place to go on the weekend to worship and receive relevant teaching from God’s word. It is a place where each family member can grow spiritually and make beneficial lifelong relationships with others who seek to be great for God. People here are loved by God and others, and demonstrate Christ’s love through serving and build up one another in love.

The vibrant worship in our services is focused on praise and thanksgiving to Jesus! He is the one lifted up in our worship and adored by all. The beauty of our membership is the unity of people who have come together from many different faiths to pursue a real living relationship with the only giver of life, Jesus Christ.

At Cedar Cross Country Church discipleship is our mission. We believe the Bible has the answers to all of life’s challenges. Our education programs, from toddlers to senior adults, are based in the biblical principles of discipleship and are dynamically taught from the pulpit, in Sunday school classes, through small group studies and one to one mentoring. We get great joy in helping people come to a practical knowledge of God.

Our Core Values

Like the original New Testament church found in Acts chapter 2, CCCC’s Core Values are Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, and Fellowship. We strive to be a church balanced in these areas of spiritual formation and effective in our purpose as a church.

We are a praying fellowship of believers and we believe God hears and answers prayer.

We are building a community of loving and caring people who represent the hands and heart of Jesus to our community. We place a high priority on servant-hearted leadership, preferring and serving one another.
